Celtic Thunder was conceived in the mind of producer Sharon Browne in 2007 and went on to become one of the most acclaimed world music groups around the globe. Not only do they have an exceptional large following on social media, multiple double-platinum albums, but they have received multiple awards, including Billboard’s Top World Music Artist Award, the Top World Music Imprint and Top World Album Awards of 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2015, respectively, as well as four Canadian Country Music Awards and two Juno Awards.
Each member of Celtic Thunder, whether solo or ensemble, vocally or instrumentally, is a powerhouse. The group currently comprises vocalists Neil Byrne, Emmet Cahill, Damian McGinty, and Ronan Scolard, backed by an exceptional band.

The 4,000-seat MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods is the perfect choice for a larger-than-life performance such as Celtic Thunder. The theatre is designed for optimal viewing, with two large screens on either side of the theatre, guaranteeing a perfect audio and visual experience. The comfortable seats are spread across four areas: the main orchestral floor, VIP, parterre, and a mezzanine.
