Digital Underground was one of the geniuses known for fusing funk and rap. They began as a group and later dropped six albums, including the high charting gem, Sex Packets. When we said that there will be no modern rappers without acts like Digital Underground, well we were not kidding. Rap legend Tupac Shakur launched his career as a member of Digital Underground, going by the name 2pac.
Grammy nominated icon Tone Loc is best known for “Funky Cold Medina” and “Wild Thing.” Launching his career in the late ‘80s, Tone Loc has paved his way into becoming a fixture in West Coast rap. Fans can expect platinum selling hits and crowd bopping staples like “I Got it Goin On,” “All through the Night,” and “Cool Hand Loc.” In 1989, Tone Loc dropped his enigma of a record titled Loc-ed After Dark, a body of work which notably dominated the Billboard 200.
