The Harlem-born singer and songwriter, Keith Sweat, is one of the Godfather’s of R&B. Known for his signature "whining" vocal style, the star hit the mainstream with singles "Lucky Seven" and "My Mind Is Made Up." His debut full-length record Make It Last Forever dropped in 1987 and was an instant success! The mixtape sold over a whopping three million copies. Featuring smash hits like "I Want Her" (#1 R&B, #5 pop), "Something Just Ain't Right" (#3 R&B), "Make It Last Forever" (#2 R&B), and "Don't Stop Your Love" (#9 R&B), it was obvious that Keith Sweat was here to stay! In 1990, he drew on this success with his sophomore album I'll Give All My Love to You. Unsurprisingly, this was another million-seller, featuring hits like "Make You Sweat" (#1 R&B, #14 pop), "Merry Go Round" (#2 R&B), "I'll Give All My Love to You" (#1 R&B, #7 pop), and "Your Love, Pt. 2" (#4 R&B).
Throughout his iconic career, Keith Sweat has remained a major force in the R&B scene. At the turn of the millennium, the star dropped Didn't See Me Coming (2000) and Rebirth (2002). Fast forward to 2018, with a dozen records behind him, he released Playing for Keeps, featuring industry heavyweights K-Ci, Akon, Teddy Riley, and Tank. And now, he’s still keeping the vibes alive by performing his heart out around the globe. This farewell concert at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods is your last chance to see the legend live!
