Premier Theater At Foxwoods | Mashantucket, Connecticut
Pull out your 2024 bucket lists and put Pete Davidson on top ‘cause he’s tearing the house down this Saturday, January 6th, at the Premier Theatre in Foxwoods Resort Casino! The People’s Choice Award-nominated comedian sets his sights on six cities across the eastern United States, signaling a week-long welcome for a new year of laughs. Keenly observant and hilariously awkward, Pete Davidson sends crowds roaring with his unique brand of humor — equal parts surreal and self-deprecating. Our headliner claimed his big break as an eight-year cast member of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, where he played a whole line-up of fan-favorite characters like the airheaded Chad. But barring his iconic SNL days, Davidson has been making some waves as a top-billed actor, with notable starring roles in A24’s horror box office hit “Bodies Bodies Bodies” and the Peacock Original comedy-drama “Bupkis.” Get your tickets now and grab the velvety best seats at the Premier Theatre!
After the New Year’s Eve fireworks, there comes equally explosive fits of laughter orchestrated by the one-and-only Pete Davidson! In a week-long series of live stand-up shows, the comedy star will hit six cities due east of the United States, kicking off in Pittsburgh before barreling towards Mashantucket, CT, where the Premier Theatre awaits on January 6th.
“I’ve been to several big name comedy shows this year that were all lackluster, but Pete Davidson had me laughing so hard the whole show that my cheeks started to get sore.”
Like an eagle, he sees, and like a penguin, he waddles. Former SNL star Pete Davidson is a highly observant comedian who can turn all the awkwardness of life into hysterical bits of stand-up stories. Some of his best-received material involve hilariously relatable shots of self-deprecation, with sprinkles of dark humor that’ll leave you in side-splitting stitches.
Pete Davidson is known to the world as a critically acclaimed cast member of NBC’s legendary sketch show, Saturday Night Live. He joined the series in its 40th season premiere when he was 20 years old — one of the youngest in history. During his eight-year tenure here, the artist performed some of SNL’s most beloved characters, including Chad — an easily distracted airhead who first appeared in the “Pool Boy” skit.
Outside of SNL, Davidson has been making waves as an up-and-coming actor. Recently, he created and starred in the Peacock Original comedy-drama “Bupkis” and lent his voice to Tubi’s animated sitcom “The Freak Brothers.” He has also fronted a handful of big-screen box office hits over the years, which include A24’s “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” Universal Pictures’ “The King of Staten Island,” and DC Studios’ “The Suicide Squad.”
In terms of accolades, Pete Davidson has received three nominations from the 2020 People's Choice Awards and was named in Forbes magazine’s 30 under 30 list of 2016.
